TerraNext unlocks capital, customers and government support for businesses on both sides of the critical minerals trade.

India is building battery, clean energy and advanced manufacturing capability at pace, and it needs a secure supply of the minerals that feed those industries.

Australia holds many of them.

TerraNext works with miners, processors, technology companies, investors and governments to turn that fit into signed agreements, funded projects and working supply chains. We bring together the three things a critical minerals business needs to grow: capital, customers and government support.

What we unlock

Customers

We connect Australian producers and technology providers with Indian manufacturers, processors and industrial groups looking for reliable, long-term supply. Then we guide the relationship through partner selection, offtake agreements, contracting and compliance.

Capital

We get projects investment ready and put them in front of the right investors, financiers and strategic partners in Australia, India and beyond. That includes Indian groups looking to invest directly in Australian operations, and joint ventures that build capability in both countries.

Government

We help clients work with government in both countries, on policy settings, programs such as India's National Critical Minerals Mission, approvals, and bilateral initiatives under the Australia–India ECTA.

Who we work with

Manufacturers, processors and investors that want secure, trusted Australian supply or direct investment in Australian projects. We identify the right Australian partners, make the introductions and support you through due diligence, structuring and approvals.

Where the opportunity is

Batteries

India's production-linked incentive scheme backs 50 GWh of battery cell manufacturing, with more than ten plants under construction. From 2027, that creates demand for lithium, nickel, manganese and cobalt at scale, which are minerals Australia produces.

Semiconductors

India's Semiconductor Mission is funding three wafer fabs and seven supporting facilities, which will draw on silicon, tantalum, cobalt, hafnium and tungsten.

Advanced and established industry

India's steel, aerospace and defence, chemicals and ceramics industries are mature and growing, and they depend on a secure supply of critical minerals.

Why India, why now

India is building capability across the whole critical minerals value chain, from extraction to advanced manufacturing.  Much of that capacity comes online in the next two to three years, and Indian companies are securing supply now.

The Australian businesses that move early will lock in the long-term partnerships.

4th largest economy

More than US$4 trillion, and the fastest growing large economy four years running.

1.4 billion people

About 65 per cent of them under 35.

National Critical Minerals Mission

Around A$6 billion committed to securing supply and building domestic capability.

US$100 billion

Potential Australia–India trade by 2030, backed by the Australia–India ECTA.
